Volos marine is the gateway to the Pagasitikos Gulf which is a mythical destination with coves beaches and teal-coloured waters . Ideal for relaxed sailing, as the sea is usually relatively calm with light warm winds. Swim in the turquoise water and visit little fishing villages such as Zasteni, Kottai, Ag Kiriaki and Palio Trickery Island where you will find unspoiled Greek culture. Taste the local specialities in one of the many seaside villages - Pelion's speciality (spetzofai) in the delightful Kato Gatzea or Afissos, or crayfish spaghetti in the little fishing village on the island of Trikeri.

Volos port city, is the capital of the wonderful region of Magnesia. Situated at the base of the beautiful Pelion mountain peninsular. Α modern city with mythical roots, welcomes you on the waterfront opposite the yachts where you can enjoy the famous "tsipouradika" (places that offer the local version of ouzo) with great sea food. You’ll also discover , museums, shopping centres and exhibitions. Volos is mainly built on the area of the ancient city of Iolcus. Iolcus was the homeland of the mythical ancient Greek hero, Jason. This is also where he and the Argonauts began their voyage on their ship, the Argo, in search of the Golden Fleece. A replica of the Argo can be seen on the waterfront of Volos.
